Description: A flea beetle, Hemiglyptus basalis, collected from young Yerba Santa (Eriodictyon trichocalyx var. trichocalyx) in the area that burned in the Foothill Fire (9/11/2013). This specimen was collected and chilled in the refrigerator for photography.
